Sophia Silver is our student of the month for March! She is in the Concurrent Enrollment program and excels at CCD as well as hitting all benchmarks and meetings with her Advisor. Sophia is a positive role model and promotes the success of others in education. She was an integral part of her sister’s successful graduation this year as well as her boyfriend last year. Sophia is proud to be an online student and, during her Denver University visit, made sure that everyone knew that she was taking online courses. She will graduate with 34 college credits earned, and will be attending DU on a scholarship next year. Sophia qualified for and applied to Phi Theta Kappa – an honor society for students with a 3.5 or better GPA and who have completed at least 12 credits with CCD. Sophia is a great example of a successful online student as well as advocate for the importance of education!
