Youth for Understanding Foreign Exchange Program

Please see the below information from Youth for Understanding about a foreign exchange program.

Would your family, or someone you know, consider hosting a high school foreign exchange studentfor the 2017/2018 school year?  You get to choose the student you want to host, and the country they come from.

We also send high school students  to Study Abroad for a 2 weeks summer program, or for the whole summer, for a semester, or for the school year.

If hosting a student isn’t your cup of tea, but would like to learn more about other cultures, we would love to have you join our team as a volunteer mentorsupporting the student and host family during the exchange year.

Classroom Excursions Abroad and YOU can go for freeas a chaperone if you find 10 paying students to study abroad for a short 2-3 week summer program.  You get to choose the country that your group goes to: Spain, France, Germany, Greece, your choice of Scandinavian country combo, Argentina, Chile, China, Ghana, South Africa, South Korea, or Thailand (we can also customize a trip based on your interest).

If you would like more information on any of these programs (or all 4), I will be happy to email that to you, just let me know which program information to send (hosting, studying abroad, or volunteering).  We have full CSIET listing through the Department of State in all categories.

Please reply STOP if you would not like to receive emails from  I will provide confirmation your email was received.
