OPPORTUNITY FOR TEEN ARTISTS
The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver’s Teen Program: Failure Lab invites teens currently enrolled in high school to submit 2D artwork for a juried exhibition at MCA Denver. Please share with interested students!
We are looking for artwork that responds to the theme of Natural Disaster. From personal to political, from literal to figurative, we’re looking for work that fits within this theme. Teens can only submit one piece, so they should send us their best. Submissions are accepted digitally here and must include an attached photo of the artwork submitted.
Artwork will be juried by Failure Lab, and artists selected for inclusion will be notified by Thursday, October 12. Accepted artwork must be dropped off at MCA Denver between October 12 and October 24.
Selected artwork will be displayed in the museum as part of a FREE exhibition opening event on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 6-9PM. Artwork will stay on display at the museum from November 3, 2017–January 7, 2018.
Submit 2-D (photography, painting, drawing, prints, etc.) artwork to be displayed in a teen art show at MCA Denver. They can only submit one artwork of your choice.
Submissions accepted online beginning Monday, September 25, 2017 through Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
