The SPF (School Performance Framework) is the way by which all schools in Colorado are measured based on student achievement, growth, post-secondary readiness, and community engagement. For the past three years, Denver Online has earned a green (performance) rating which is an acceptable rating as the scale includes: red (probation), orange (priority improvement), yellow (on watch), green (performance), and blue (distinguished).
It is with great pride and pleasure that we announce that Denver Online High School earned a distinguished (blue) rating on the 2017 School Performance Rating. Among other indicators, this was accomplished by having 91% of students demonstrating growth in Reading, 90.2% of students growing in Language Usage, and 83.9% of students growing in Math as evidenced by the MAP assessment. We also saw impressive SAT scores with Denver Online students outperforming most schools in the district and State.
This rating is a testament to the hard work of our students and teachers during the 2016-17 school year. We are excited to see our students working so hard this year to help us repeat that performance! Congratulations to all students and teachers!
