Spring Break: March 30-April 6; Smedley Campus closed until at least April 20th

Please see the message below from Principal Ian Jones.

DOHS Families:

Denver Online will be CLOSED March 30-April 6, 2020 in observance of Spring Break. Our team will not be available for communication or support during this time. All messages will be returned and grading will be updated on or after April 6, 2020. The Smedley Campus is also CLOSED until at least April 20, 2020 in compliance with the State, City and Denver Public Schools’ orders as we continue to combat COVID-19 as a nation (and world). As new developments occur, we will continue to communicate.

For the next week (as has been the case since March 13), students who are not caught up in their classes are encouraged to be ready to start Week 10 on April 7, 2020. Please remember that, on April 7 at 12:00 p.m., our entire school will engage in our “March Madness Party” to re-engage ourselves in our school community and provide updates regarding how we will move forward in a 100% online environment until our campus is re-opened. ALL students should plan to attend this very important (and fun) meeting! To keep things light, we are requesting that ALL students and staff members wear costumes to the Zoom meeting and have their cameras turned on! We want to see the wonderful faces of our students!

I know that the world is a crazy place right now and am hopeful that all in our community are healthy and safe. Please take care of yourselves and your families as we continue to stay at home and practice strong social distancing. I have thought about each one of our families very much over the past two weeks and am wishing you all health, stability and safety as we move forward. Take care and be well!
