Schoology Updates for Current Denver Online families

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for Denver Online Students and Families:
We will continue to use Schoology for student learning for the 2021-2022 school year. Schoology helps us work together to provide students with meaningful learning experiences both at school and at home. We’ll use Schoology to share assignments and resources, capture your child’s learning, and communicate about student progress and needs.
We are excited to announce that, starting for the 2021-2022 school year, we will be joining the DPS instance of Schoology. This will allow us to take advantage of additional support and resources for our school community. This also means that students and parents who have existing accounts will have a slightly different experience than past school years. In order to make this transition, students, staff, and parents will be unable to login to their Schoology account from July 3rd to July 26th. Once all accounts have been transferred, new and existing students will login by going to schoology.dpsk12.org. Parents will be able to login as they did before or can login via the Parent Portal. For parents who created a second Schoology account for DPS and Denver Online, they have the option to merge these accounts together using the process in this article or call DoTS for support at 720-423-3163. Students will use their DPS Google accounts to log into the new instance. More information will be shared once the migration has been made.We will also be passing grades back from Schoology to Infinite Campus (IC). As a result, you will see progress eligibility and final grades posted in both the Student and Parent Portals. Schoology will be the most accurate place to check your student’s grades and coursework. We appreciate your patience as we put this new process in place.
Below are steps for setting up Schoology at home and additional resources to help you support you and your student during this transition. You will access Schoology through your DPS Parent Portal account. 
If you do not yet have a DPS Parent Portal account, click here to create your account. Please note that all information submitted in the Getting Started form must match what the school has on file for you.
If you already have a DPS Parent Portal account but do not remember your login, please use the login assistance found on the portal homepage myportal.dpsk12.org. For support with your DPS Parent Portal account, please call 720-423-3163.
