What: We will visit the Denver Audubon Nature Center grounds in Littleton, CO. We will take a DPS bus from school to the center and back. At the center, we will learn about the basics of how to identify birds and how to use binoculars. Students will then participate in an hour-long low-key hike with an expert birder and hopefully see some fun birds! We will eat lunch at the center.
When: November 1, 2022 – Meet at Smedley Campus (4250 Shoshone Street) at 9:00 am and pick up will be at 2:30 pm
Cost: Students are asked to bring $10 to support the cost of the field trip. *If cost is an issue, please let us know.
