| The DPS Sustainability Team invites you to attend one of the many Earth Day Events happening throughout our community. See a list of events being hosted throughout the DPS community below. Montbello Career and Technical High: Connecting to the Earth through Meditative Walking on Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. Attendees will participate in forest bathing, walking meditation, and yoga. Denver Green School: Community Day on Saturday, April 22 from 9-11 a.m. There will be volunteer opportunities to beautify the playground followed by games, activities and food. Munroe Elementary: Go Westwood on Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Prepare their garden for planting and paint to beautify the campus. Manual High School: DPS Climate Action Summit on Saturday, April 22 from 1-4 p.m. Students will learn leadership and advocacy skills. Register here. STEAM Department: Sustainability Expo on Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the CSU SPUR campus. Morey Middle School: Morey Food Forest planting on Wednesday, April 26 at 11 a.m. |
