If you have youth between the ages of 14 and 21 who are looking for summer employment they have the opportunity to make up to $2,100 doing summer work with the Denver Youth Employment Program. Students must meet self-attested financial eligibility requirements such as FRL, Medicaid, SNAP, or other assistance). In addition to supporting job placement they will also receive job readiness training and financial literacy as well as the opportunity to open up their own bank accounts without needing parents to set up an account. Students must have a social security card to apply.
Application to the program is lottery based and does not guarantee placement. If selected, students will interview for a position. I have attached flyers that you can share with your students.
