Stacy is a self proclaimed adrenaline junkie who spends much of her time in the back-country! She has been a nurse since 1999 and spent most of her career in the ER. She has been a Nationally Certified School Nurse since 2009 and has spent over ten years in school nursing with Denver Public Schools. She is an active member of the Nursing Services Department Leadership Team and has mentored numerous new nurses in DPS, teaching Emergency Response in the schools to the new nurse induction class. She also teaches School Emergency Triage Training (SETT), Stop the Bleed, and other emergency related trainings. Stacy is a also a CPR instructor and a retired firefighter/EMT (with 15 years of field experience) and wilderness EMT. She attended Colgate University as an Undergrad, University of Texas at Austin for graduate school, and University of Colorado Health Science for her Nursing Degree.
