Choose a School that is Right for You!

Round 2 of School Choice is now open!  Enrollment is based on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis, so taking action quickly is important if you are wishing to switch schools. Participating in School Choice allows you to choose a new school for the 2024-2025 school year.  You can pick multiple schools you are interested in enrolling at and then rank them in the order of your preference.

  • Round 2 of School Choice closes on August 30th, but you should take action as soon as possible if you plan to switch schools for the 24-25 school year.

I need a CREDIT RECOVERY option! 

DPS “Pathway” high schools that offer credit recovery do not participate in School Choice. Instead, they have their own individual enrollment processes that can be found by looking directly on their personal websites.

• Find a list of Pathway Schools HERE. These schools will be marked as “District-Managed Pathways School” or “Pathways Charter School” on this list.
• Once you’ve decided what Pathway School you’d like to enroll at next year, then please fill out this short survey to let us know where you plan to go.

I am MOVING to another state and/or school outside of Denver Public Schools.

If you’re planning on moving to another school that is not affiliated with Denver Public Schools, please complete this very quick form to let us know where you’re planning on enrolling. This will help us get your records to the right place, while also getting the Confirmation of Enrollment from the new school that we must have prior to withdrawing a student from Denver Online.
