Before joining the Denver Online team, she taught English and social studies for eight years. She is passionate about supporting non-traditional students and published an article in the journal “Educational Studies” about fostering adolescents’ resilience. Nadia received her Ph.D. from the University of Denver in Educational Leadership and Policy, her M.A. from CU Boulder in Instruction and Curriculum in Education, and her B.A. in Political Science from Macalester College.
