Rae (they/them/theirs) is dedicated to social justice and sustainability. Rae holds an AMI Diploma in Montessori Adolescent Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Justice Studies from Tufts University. They come to Denver Online with extensive Montessori experience and also bring experience from four years as a farmer at Weir River Farm and Vanguarden CSA in Massachusetts. Before farming, Rae worked in outdoor education with middle school students for eight years. Rae is passionate about being outside, local botany, exploring science in our everyday lives, growing and preserving food, financial empowerment, and empowering adolescents to be the amazing and unique individuals they are in the world.
