Sarah Klieforth-Williams (you can just call her Ms. K!) is a middle and high school ELA-S teacher at Denver Online.  Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Secondary English Language Arts Education.  Weeks into her student teaching, she realized how much she loved teaching multilingual learners and immediately went back to get her M.A. in Educating Diverse Learners from Adams State College.  Along with teaching English learners, she coached volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country, in addition to serving as the sponsor for Snowsports Outreach Society where she spent her weekends with her high school students as they learned how to ski and snowboard for the first time.  After years in the mountains, she came to the front range to complete her second M.A. – this time in Reading Education.  She has spent the past 19 years teaching and serving Multilingual Learners in a variety of capacities.  Outside of the classroom, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, their two little boys, and their myriad of Golden Retrievers and other pets.  They rarely sit still and are usually found outside, camping, hiking, skiing, biking, traveling, and adventuring.
