Welcome to Denver Online for the 23-24 School Year!
Dear Denver Online Students and Families,
On behalf of Denver Online, please let me be the first to welcome you to the 23-24 school year with Denver Online! We couldn’t be more excited to have you as part of our school community for the remainder of this school year.
2nd Semester Enrollment and Course Schedules Created
Once a student is officially enrolled at Denver Online, their counselor will be creating their schedule with courses that the students needs, and these courses will be made available in Schoology the following day. Counselors are working as quickly as possible to get new students launched, so please be patient 🙂 New students will continue to trickle in at the start of the semester, and teachers are aware and ready to support students as their courses become available.

One-on-one Welcome Meetings and Orientation with Advisement Teachers (virtual)
What: Advisement Teachers will be reaching out to set up individual one-on-one meetings with each of their advisement students and their guardian(s). These meetings will ensure both the student and guardian are equipped to have a great start to the semester!
Who: All new and returning families will have individual meetings with the student’s Advisement Teacher
When: Advisement Teachers will reach out to schedule a meeting with the family the week the student is enrolled.
All parents/guardians should ensure they have an active Parent Portal account. Having a Parent Portal account is also the only way a guardian will have a Schoology Parent account as they are linked.
**Note: You will need your student’s student ID number to create an account. If by chance you do not know your student’s ID number, please email kaci_sintek@dpsk12.net and it’ll be sent to you!
Complete Student Health Requirements
What: Per law, your child needs to be updated with the required immunizations for school attendance or have an exemption in place by the start of the school year. If a student takes medication, please complete Medication Forms here. Students will need medication for field trips and/or in-person activities. Students can self-carry epipens and inhalers if that is checked on the paperwork by the health care provider. Parents must sign and date after health care provider completes the form. The school nurse will then complete a self carry contract with the parent and student.
Who: All students need to have updated immunizations or an exemption form completed. Medication forms must be completed for students taking medication.
When: All documentation should be completed and submitted to Denver Online’s Office Support, Veronica Martinez (vmarti4@dpsk12.net).
Where:
A copy of a student’s immunization records can be sent to Denver Online Office Support, Veronica Martinez: vmarti4@dpsk12.net
